Hockey,

I see you have AIM, if you happen to have Yahoo IM I could probably drop you a place or two.

I have never bet at a book that liked taking bets on steam games and would either toss you out or tell you it was bet already. If you try to bet every move you will get asked to leave and that includes every book out there.

Being a book it is not much fun when they get a bet on a steam move and for the next 2 minutes you have to deal with all the mindless middlers who hope you didn't move the game yet. It really does suck.

As a player it really does suck when you bet your own plays and and all of a sudden 1 of your plays is a steam play and you scramble to get a bet down before the odds get out of control and the books treat you like crap because you had the balls to ask about a game that just moved.

Both bettors and book makers act like little girls when this happens. Just bet your games and just take the bets and STFU. Act like men for a change.

It would be stupid for a book to not accept followers that were betting the bet after the games odds had been moved. That's not the debate.

Getting in the bet before the odds move will get you kicked out of every book out there unless you are the originator of the play. Even trying to make the bet before the book changes the odds will get you kicked out of every book out there or your limits will be reduced to almost nothing.

You just can't try to bet every move at a book before they have a chance to take the bet from the originator and expect the book to keep taking your business. If your only going to make a bet at the original number and pass every time you don't get the good odds not 1 book out there will keep you as a customer.

I agree with that. Bet your own bets and this should never happen to you.

1. your getting the moves.......(if that was the case you wouldnt be replying to this thread)

2. your as sharp as wiseguys.....and you better learn to cover your tracks better......

Chasing steam these days will get you killed.

There was a day when lines were off by a bunch of points, and you could make a fortune betting steam.

These days, the internet has increased efficiency in the markets and a steam chaser will get killed.

No betting stale lines, that is another topic :)
