2* Los Angeles Dodgers 1st 5 Innings PK +126

Tigers/Yanks stays under the total for the W in the early game. For those that posted in my other thread - that was an OBVIOUS joke. Apparently not obvious enough.

To tonight's game...

Kuo is a power pitcher that goes lights out early, and is unable to go deep into games. I dont think the Dodgers have anyone in their bullpen with the talent level of Billy Wagner, so I like Kuo to throw his 96-98 MPH fastball and shut down the Mets early at a good price. Glavine is too old, and while he is a savvy veteran, has not had good playoff outings has past 3 times out. He's going to have to nibble, nibble, nibble on that outside corner, and if he doesnt get it, the Dodgers will get to him early and often. Glavine is the type of pitcher, once he gets the corner and gets into a groove he can be good. So take the early 5 inning ML here at a Pick 'Em and get your money back on a tie.

Good Luck

dont like it.

1) Feel Mets are the better team and have a dangerous lineup

2) Master L is on the same exact bet

I missed that. I just got home and didnt look at any other posts - but I wanted to get this one out there.:smoking:

I think the Mets are the better team, too. But it's not about what team is better, it's about what team is better today - and you are only as good as your pitcher on the mound.

I dont have any confidence in the Dodgers to come from behind if they fall down early, and I dont have much confidence in them to hold a lead late in the game at NY. But I think they can take an early lead, and pitch well behind Kuo. Kuo is a stud my man. 96-98 MPH lefty. He's got dirty shit. You just never heard of him before because your too busy figuring out how to get your woman to take a facial again because the relationship has gone stale.

You cant be possibly stupid enough to talk crap in the 3rd inning of a 5 inning play. At least you said something BEFORE the game for once. That's always a plus.

1st and 3rd, Dodgers left 'em stranded.

Kuo has pitched good. Can't ask for much more at +126. But it is what it is. Bunt single, passed ball, sac bunt and a groundout gets the Mets a run. Like I said, if you let Glavine get into a groove in the early going, he will be lights out. He's in a groove right now. Dodgers have a 5% chance of coming back at Shea with Wagner in the pen and Glavine cruising, even with the score only 1-0, in this game. Thats why I felt the 1st 5 innings was of more value. I'll blame Master L for this loss. Bwhaha

Back tomorrow with winnnnaz :pope:

dude the dodgers blow. They have very little hitting. Nomar is old, slow, and the dodgers #3 hitter. Thats a joke. The Dodgers have no chance against the mets and I love the Mets to win the NL bet.
Everyone was down on them once they lost Pedro but the Mets are more than a 1 man show. Their lineup is loaded. Loaded with young talented players as opposed to the Yankees old talented players.

No shit, Pimple. It doesnt take a brain surgeon to see that the Mets have the better team or that they were - and still are - primed to win this series. But if you keep thinking like a douche bag and keep talking about lineups, you're gonna get burned in the playoffs. You know better than this.

Lineups dont win, pitching wins. Every team is gonna get some hitting, it's about who is gonna pitch. And I didnt think a talented lefty like Kuo, deserved to be such a huge underdog to an old Tom Glavine, just because nobody knew who he was. He pitched well, as expected, just as good as Glavine, and thats all I could ask for at the underdog price.

Holler at a player when you see him on the streets
