Having been a part of this wonderful forum for quite a while, I have come to several conclusions. One of them is the fact that most of you guys could find a way to open an account, fund it and wager even if you were stranded on an a deserted island.

That chicken shit outfit bet365 has cut off wagering for US customers. I know there are ways around this. Could I open an account there using a Canadien address, a yahoo email address and fund the account with neteller?

I know they're a gutless sportsbook but I need them for soccer. Could you guys give me some ways to be able to open an account there? Thanks all.

I wished these guys would have told me 2 weeks ago when I signed up with them that they were going to shut me down.

I called them up, I lose all my 35% signup bonus, and I lose all of the free $100 dollars to the pokeroom that they gave me which a ran up to $170 which I lost all of that too!!!!!!!

I am going to say something that will probably not be very popular

If a given company states that they don't want customers from the US......the best thing you could do........is respect that.......

why would you want the risk of getting your winnings confiscated (if you win, if you lose we already know nothing happens) ?

if you decide to sign up with a company that does not want you........you should be aware that you risk confiscation of your funds at any time IF they discover you lied

its not like there are NO other sportsbooks that will want your action

Similar deal here. Ran thru the rollover quickly as the in-play betting was a bonanza for me.

Damn sux. I liked their extensive tennis and golf lines and props.

I lived in Ireland and have an address there and an Irish VISA card so I should be all set.

Why would you try to work around a mediocre book's refusal to work with you? That seems silly. Now if Pinny said that I could understand the efforts, but why even bother? All the work you do to finish your bonus rollover probably won't be worth it because you will have to do quite a bit of dancing.

The point with 365 is that they have nice soccer props, ahc etc. The same for hockey and some other events. That is what makes them great for "unusual" Americans (betting on soccer, tennis etc.).

Bet365 is an excellent book for soccer but in addition to the potential problems with legality, I'd suggest you support books that aren't capitulating and still want US business. 5 Dimes and Pinnacle are decent for soccer, in terms of the leagues they offer. They don't offer the wide variety of bets that Bet365 does but I'm not exactly spending my time trying to figure out ways to give Bet365 my business right now...

Bet365 didn't have the decency to extend a grace period or at least a deadline to their customers. I was with them for years, now I can't even check my account balance or future wagers unless I call and go through a series of questions. Their decision to close US resident accounts was premature and unnecessary at this juncture and I stated that in an email to them. Good riddance.

Bet 365 is by far the best out for soccer.

Agree 100%. I did some grieving here myself. But it is what it is, at least for now. At least my money was in Neteller in 15 minutes. Just let things shake out. My bet is that in a years time we'll be able to play anywhere we want.

In the meantime I'd suggest emailing some of the books that still welcome US business and request that they add more soccer props. Pinnacle is usually pretty responsive to these sort of requests. For example, the added 1-AA football last year due to a number of request (mostly from me and my cronies)...

soccerbob:

Try NordicBet. They don't have the live betting or the props that 365 had, but they have pretty good prices. They still take American customers.

You lose the Free $100, but they can't take your winnings can they?
