I'm not sure but after the game yesterday I jumped on a Detroit world series victory for +2000 I couldn't pass that up after watching their pitching staff.

I also got them for this series at +210

detroit is another bus that will crash.

if anyone was to stop the yanks losing streak, wright usually did a good job and then back to wang

I would think the A's would be slight fav's in that series. That is just my opinion and I'm not great fan of baseball. A's just seem to get people on base and get them around to score. Detroit, while they have looked good the last few games, will most likely not get out of this series. Yanks prolly score 14 tomorrow to make up for today.

i would make the local book line ev/6 A's...just b/c of the home field...if det had home field id make them 6-7....

the only thing i get a kick out of is seeing the A's now as the favs across theboard...id be shock as shit to see this team win the WS...they are the favs ATB at wsex in their ws exacta and pennant and ws odds...i just dont buy it...

typical New Yorker.......Wright gets shelled. Go home again, with a gazillion $$ payroll and no pitching. Wang never sees the mound again in this series.

I wouldnt count out the yanks just yet

Not counting them out yet Smartz....just gettin' tired of everyone but this state thinking the Tigers don't belong.

By the way...congrats on your HUGE season in bases. You, as well, won money on the Tigers tonight!!:dancefool

thank you sir. My money is on the Yanks tomorrow. I think its been a hell of an effort but I think the yanks take the last 2 here. And Wrights done alot better than u think as of late.

Very even series. A's finally winning a series could be just what they need to make a run to the title. Tigers a bit deeper in the rotation, but the one less game for the A's could be a big factor if the series goes deep since they get to start off with Zito and might get 3 games out of him if needed.

i'll take the underdog with the better starting pitching, and defense plus the home field advantage. i think that was the tigers world series. the a's are hungrier.

maybe i'm a bit bias here, but jmho.

reference made to the yanks, 26 titles and the greatest franchise in sports. When the team you root for has as much history and wins as much and has an owner who cares about winning as much as the Yanks then you can be mentioned in the same sentence as the yanks. Oh those pitches on Detroit, how long before they end up on the Yanks in exchange for future considerations

Boy.....for a guy on Monday night that said he's by no means a Yankees fan, you sure are posting quite a bit in their defense in every thread on the board.:monsters-
