is it only available on the net?

Its a big ass book that is mailed out. I don't know if newstands carry it anymore--they use to but not so much now.

They are doing a college tourney issue that will be on the net only--I am sure it will be really well done.

Have never seen it in any retail store other than the Gamblers Book Shop in Vegas.

Again, this is a MUST have for the CBB fan and/or handicapper.

just oreferd online--ship date is 10/20 though in past always a delay in shipping. I have been getting Blue Ribbon Hoops for 16 years now. Got football last year and not too impressed with that as Phil Steele Foots College Preview just as good if not better for more than half price off.

Borders used to carry it back in the day, but Dortsch has changed publishers and distributors, so direct ordering will be the best route to ensure you get what is without a doubt the best college basketball yearly on the market.

Bought it at the GBC. Some other good stuff out there, Larry Seidel who wrote the popular (and good) investing in College Basketball has a new one out that talks more about game to game handicapping.

One thing about Blue Ribbon is that even though they are ahead of the game, I think this is going to be a hard season for adjusting. With the HS kids back in school the rich are going to get richer for awhile. BR never has done a great job of assessing what the difference is between a good team in say the Colonial versus a good team in the Big 10. Not that they are looking at this in a gambler's mentality, but I find a lot of what they write a bit confusing and difficult to use. Yeah Team A is going to be worse off than Team B, but how much different will it be? That is the sort of question you can't really answer even after reading 400 pages worth of information.

WB: Seidel's second book came out over a year ago I think.

If I remember right last year he put out a revised version of his investing book, this year he put out the second book. One of the staff at GBC told me the second book was new this year.
