My father called me this morning and told me it was one of the best movies he has seen in years. He said Jack was classic!

I saw it last night.......one word AMAZING!....I though it would be OK with the great cast and all, BUT I was amazed at how many twists and turns it had......Worth the price of a ticket AND I willbuy the DVD when it comes out.......2 Thumbs UP:toast:

An old friend of mine Mark Rolston, I believe has a nice part in it. Thought it was about the Boston mob.

Very entertaining rollercoaster ride of a movie. LOVED Mark Wahlburg and Leonardo's performances the best, not so much for Matt Damon though it was his character i disliked...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

NOT as good as Casino or Goodfella's, though its also different.<o:p></o:p>

Highly recommend!<o:p></o:p>

Jack's character, Frank Costello, is based on Whity Bulger, so that angle is also interesting!

Yeah, the original script was written by a Hong Kong screenwriter and the actually title is called "Internal Affair".

Jack refused to wear a Redsox cap as called for in the script. He is lifelong Yankee fan.

Good film BUT...

Good Film with Many twists BUT By NO MEANS As GoodAs GOODFELLAS Or RAGING BULL, Or TAXI Driver........Still would Recomend The Film Sine it's Scorcese's Best in recent years . The Whole idea Of JACK Being A ................. really makes The Ending plot line Just stupid.........The movie is basically saying , The Whole business of Cops n robbers doesn't make Sense and its a merry Go round ......Worth seeing , but Really a stupid concept !

It's a remake of Infernal Affairs, which is the Hong Kong flick you're talking about. I'm pumped to see The Departed even though I know how it'll play out. Been a Scorcese fan for years and that includes his other flicks that aren't crime related.

It got a 93% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes which is high. Critics love it. Saying it might be the front runner for an Oscar for best picture.

I saw the Hong Kong version, Infernal Affairs, and loved it. I will be seeing this one and it should be good.
