i wish. THe yanks season ended when matsui and sheffield came back from injury. They totally screwed the team chemistry. Yes i love matsui, but the team was working so well together until those guys came back.

As a diehard RedSox fan this is the best scenario that could happen. Yanks have created a Monster--the Expectations have doomed them from the beginning. I thought here we go when Damon hit the 3 run HR in Game 2-but they haven't scored SINCE!!!
Rub it in Tigs-great year and props to you!!

red soxh fan, you have how many titles compared to the yanks 26. The bambino and his curse will haunt you forever. At least the yanks owner cares about his team. 5 game sweep at boston, that still is fresh in the mind.
