farve in FG range fumbles .....He has LOST all his magic...it is really crazy that he is still even playing:pucking:...I feel for packer fans

those fans in GB look forward to this football game every week, I have head that town stands STILL during home games ..I wonder if they lose all of them at home this year will they be hanging from the rafters?

That's the price you pay for being a good team for 10+ years. At least Favre lead GB to a super bowl win.

The same maybe said for the Defending Super Bowl Champs. At least Favre has made into the end zone this season. At last look, Big Ben had a Big Zero in his T.D. catagory.

My point is Favre is not Green Bay's problem. He may be the whipping boy and focal point, but the fact is, Green Bay is very young on the offensive line and defense, so to say Favre has lost all his magic, I think is wrong. It's one thing to have "magic" with a standout offensive team, but when the others around you are not of "magical caliber" is not easy and rare to have "magic". Put Big Ben or most other quarterbacks in Green Bay and they would still be a poor team. And will also say this, if Big Ben were in Green Bay for the past three seasons, he wouldn't not be viewed in the same light.

Big Ben certainly hasn't looked the same since he took up slamming his face through windshields as a summer hobby.

I stopped betting on GB weeks ago. Farve can win or lose a game by himself. He can throw for 4 td's or 4 Int's. Too unpredictable for me. Kind of like Randy Johnson, you never know what kind of performance you'll get.

What are you kidding me. They play in the worse division in the worst conference. It's like saying Iowa did something this year by going to a bowl game. Farve sucks and so do the Packers. The Packers coach is set up to fail. They will never mean anything till they blow that team up.

YOUNGEST team in the NFL...................and still in playoff contention heading to the final week.

There are obviously quite a few teams in the NFL not as good as the Packers.

DE KAMPMAN(Iowa) leads the NFL in SACKS.

LB AJ HAWK(OSU) with a fabulous rookie season.

LB BARNETT(OregonSt)......vastly underrated Pro Bowl LB

If Big Ben had started playing with the Browns like, say, Tim Couch did, his career would probably be similar to what Couch's was. It's no great revelation that no qb, no matter how talented, is any good with a crap offensive line in front of him (like the Browns' offensive line has been every year since they reentered the league). Look at Jeff Garcia now. When he played for the Browns he was running for his life every game.

Jeff Garcia is a great example.

Lets face it, most of the time QB's get to much credit when a team is doing good, and get blamed to much when going bad.

To have the Pack in playoff contention heading to the final week of the season is realistically all one could ask for before the season started, as the Packers clearly are in a rebuilding phase with the youngest team in the entire NFL and start many rookies on both sides of the ball.
