They cold-called me and asked me to re-up. I told them no, because their lines don't come up until Wednesdays. They said that they come out on Sundays now that they are owned by CRIS. I didn't check last night, but when I checked this morning, the lines were indeed up. Same software as CRIS, which is different than what they had before. Does anybody know if the lines are exactly the same as CRIS, and come out at exactly the same time on Sundays? Thanks.
I just finished closing my account at Betmaker & it was by far my worst experience I've ever had with a sportsbook. There's no way in hell I'd ever use them again.
Here's some examples of the shit I had with them:
1) Their site said they had $1 minimum internet wagers. Not true, it's $5.
2) The 30% bonus is a screwed up clusterfuck. You have to keep track of 2 separate balances because they keep your bonus in some BS monopoly money account (Bonus Play) where you earn points. The way I figured it I would have earned enough points after about a year to cash in for $50. Seriously.
3) Every wager is rounded to the nearest dollar ALWAYS IN BETMAKERS FAVOR. (+110 rounded down, -110 or -115 or -125 etc rounded up).
4) A lot of times when the lines were either 3 or 7, they'd have it set for -125 & +105. I know other places do this too, but other places don't round it so they fuck you both ways.
5) Countless times I tried to do either a teaser or parlay on the same game & was denied. Way more often than I've experienced on other sites.
6) And for one last "FUCK YOU" from Betmaker, they charged me $15 for my one & only cashout to neteller. When I bitched & said I would have just had them send me a check if I'd known that (I didn't won't those fuckers gettin another cent out of me), the lady then told me it would have COST $60 TO HAVE A CHECK SENT!!!! Are you fucking kidding me??? I thought everyone else offered one free withdrawal per month.
Bottom line...DON'T USE BETMAKER!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!!
