A lot of new books and poker rooms will be opening, smaller operations, run by people who see a great chance to make money.

the idiots closing are just shooting themselves in the head. any public company doing that should have their management fired by stockholders immediately and get some new mgmt like Jay C in there who have some balls. private compaines can do what they want

Tough for a new book to compete with exchanges, low-vig, and old established places. How do they get customers, big bonuses ?

doug, lots of customers being kicked out of large places like party poker and several sportsbooks. they need a new home. maybe at first, they are scared and sit back and dont play for a while. then they miss it and figure out others are still playing no problem. so they start looking around

magazine ad, internet ad, rx or some on-line casino message board, e-mail, plenty of ways to find them. they wont know Joesinternetsportsbook.com from Olympic. they just wont

you can argue they will ultimately fail, but they are going to pop up. think about how many square poker players party poker is summarily dropping. plus a few other big rooms.

RX posters should pool cash, open a poker room, start buying full page ads in all the poker mags, offer a good but not obscene bonus and just collect the rake. EZ money.

if you scream at everyone you are the best in your ads, regulated and with a lot of experience, its hard for them to know the differnece between you and a solid place like Doyles Room.

I think the poker places have a good shot. I also think the new sportsbooks are very tough to start, unless meant to be a scam from the very start.

Advertising, isn't cheap. What's a banner cost ? You need to get players, that = bonus, that= undesirable players.

You could go low juice... didn't work for Nojuice

Exchange.... some lack liquidity

Be careful of new books.
