i've been w/ sos for years..no problems...now they have some weird rule for me..where i can only bet a dime..that is the minimum i can bet and the maximum...
so i can't bet a nickel or 600 or 1200 .but each bet must be 1000..no more..no less...

has anyone ever seen a sportsbook have a rule like this?

yes years back i had a book tell me i could only bet 10% of my plays on props 1st halfs and quarters...then i was constantly harrassed and told they were not happy with my wagering choices...and that i need to play more parlays.....

its okay.not my top choice, but a good book to have if you have a dozen plus outs.

That is hilarious. Gotta be some sort of mistake. Did you talk to them about it? Forcing you to flat bet. What, have you martingaled them to death or something? :missingte

i talked to them. their explanation made no sense.
i was like whatever. they said they have this rule for certain clients.
its just crazy imo

nothing like that.
just regular bets.
have beat them in nascar badly and they cut my limits to 200 for that sport.
but everything else is 1000 min/max for me for every other sport.

I can understand the max of course, but the min/max just seems like their way of f**king with you. Or like Chop says, they really wanna kick you out, but they don't want to have to say they are kicking someone out. If you put up with it for long, they'll probably add something like you have to place exactly 11 wagers per calender week. And then you have to bet on 60% or more of favorites. And then the location of the teams must be at least 60% east of the Mississippi. :lolBIG:

I used SOS many years ago, but the fact that you had to download software just to place wagers with them seemed kind of archaic to me. Do you still have to download their program in order to play?

I agree - they're just trying to get rid of you. Why put up with that nonsense?

SOS has been in business longer than 90% of the books mentioned on this site. That still doesnt justify your problem, but they are solid.
