Glancing over the college football lines this week the AUB/FLA game stood out to me. It actually screamed SUCKER SUCKER SUCKER to me. My intial picks are usually square as they come and I loved Fla as my biggest play of the year. So the more I think about it, the more the gators getting points looks too good to be true. And you know what that usually means.

I dont think so.

I think a lot of people dont believe in Florida yet. You can look at how some AP voters voted, and some had Florida ranked #5 still.

I think homefield is driving this line. If the line was -3.5, then I would talk trap, but the fact that Auburn just has to win by a field goal at home to cover seems about right to me.

Night game, gameday, ESPN nationally televised game.

I think neutral field would be Florida -1
I think at the Swamp would be Florida -4

gators are probably the best team to watch because of teebo. That kid is going to be a stud. everytime he is in the game he gets 3 yards or more and the defense knows what he is going to do.

Yeah, he is definitely going to be a great college football player and may win the Heisman one day. Going pro will be a different story.

He will never be as good of a passer as Leak, IMO, but he CAN throw the ball. Its just that Meyer is trying to put him in situations where he can only succeed. He only has to make 1 or 2 reads max. He doesnt want a true freshman throwing the ball around making tons of reads vs. SEC defenses.

The fact that everyone in the country knows he is 90% sure to run and they still cant stop it is awesome. When hes back there full time and it's more 50/50 or 60/40 run/pass, it will be very difficult to stop this kid.

If LSU doesn't fumble at the goal late in the first half, there's likely a different result in Gainesville. But they fumbled and to the Gators credit, they took advantage. I can't see Auburn losing back to back home games. If I play the game, it's the Tigers.

If LSU doesnt fumble it's 14-7. The Gators were driving the ball on LSU all day.

You act like a score there would have put the game away.

The Gators marched right down the field on their opening drive. If the Gators dont fumble on LSU's 25 yard line, kill that drive, their momentum and ability to take an early lead and the wind out of LSU's sail, maybe LSU doesnt score at all.

If my aunt had a set of nuts she'd be my uncle.

teebo is going to fit in great with meyer. Meyer loves running those short passes and quick routes. Plus he can run with the best. Gators are going to be very strong for years to come. Im looking forward to see how good teebo could possibly be. He was a stud in high school im sure he will excel at the college level also. Nfl time will tell no one knows how good he is until he is running the offense full time

Lsu had 5 turnovers, one at UFs half yard-line, a fumble on a punt return at there own 20. A SAFETY on a KO return. Lets face it, LSU fucked up, and Flordia took advantage. Credit to them.

I think the public will be all over the Gators after their cover last weekend. I'm big on Aub if that's the case

I agree totally. Credit the Gators, but they did not dominate the game.
Remember with all that, they only won by 13. I also agree with the quote about Teebo being a perfect fit for a Meyer offense.

i think aub is the best bet on the board this week...

i love the fact its a night game...i like the fact that the pressure is now off auburn after losing last week...fla is off a huge win last week vs lsu and have a team in UGA on deck they cant overlook...their schedule is very difficult its tough to get "UP" week in and week out...

i think aub gonna win by DD saturday night...

The Gators did not dominate that game by any means. But they won it.

LSU fucked up. But people act like if they went in for the score at the 1 yd line that it was game, set and match in the 2nd quarter with a 14-7 lead. Florida outgained LSU in every yardage category up until the 4th quarter, when Florida went into soft coverage because they were up 3 possesions and allowed LSU to complete everything underneath.

It's not like the Gators were getting out-played, out-rushed, out-passed, or out-defensed.

And two of those INT's were without a shadow of doubt caused by Reggie Nelsons hit that squirted the ball up in the air for an INT. I mean, thats just great defense. He was also there to drill rethe LSU receiver down the sideline on the fly pattern, for another INT for Ryan Smith, another great defensive play. At what point do we say Florida played good defense, aside from LSU's special teams mistakes? I mean Florida has been creating these INT's all year, it wasnt a fluke vs. LSU.

And like I said, UF's opening drive, they were doing whatever they wanted offensively, they had LSU completely off balance until UF fumbled on the LSU 25 yard line. I have no doubt that that drive was ending in a TD the way UF was moving the ball. But nobody mentions that.

BAD timing for Gators to cum to auburn this week

AUBURN is a great play for many reasons. One of the reasons AUBURN lost last week was because they were looking ahead to this week. They got burned and not they are pissed.

How in the world can any team in the country play 2 back to back games against teams like LSU and AUBURN and go 2-0? If Flordia can pull that off, fuck OSU. FLORDIA will be the undisputed #1 team in the country in my book.

From what I can see it seems the public is all over Florida right now, so have to see where that line will end up. Just like last week it seemed like everyone was on lsu and florida kicked the crap out of them. I think this is such a hard game to bet because auburn has that crazy home field advantage but they are definitely not as good as years before.

If Arkansas can dominate Auburn then how much damage can the gators do? Is Arkansas a better matchup against Auburn than Florida? I like Florida on the moneyline.

Auburn is so banged up (on both sides of the ball)

they didnt lose last week "just" due to looking ahead

using that same angle of handicapping you could just as easiy say they are deflated only
to have an even better team to play this week

they are very one dimensional and unimagintive on offense

and apparently cant stop the run

Spurrier exposed their secondary as well

wheres the edge on Auburn?

Also remember Florida is playing for a title shot. That is incentive enough for me.
