The Hospital for Special Surgery was in that building. Maybe he was late for a doctors appointment and was in a hurry to get there.

apparantly he was a new pilot using visual rules. the plane was a "performance" plane that was tough to fly. conditions were marginal at best. amazing that anyone in a small plane can fly under a certain height and go anywhere they want at any time like a car. surprising, especially after 9/11.
very sad, but coulda been much worse.

watching the whole story right now on Comcast sports net here in Philly, reports here are saying his family dosent even know yet...just saw an interview with him from April 2006 stating how much he loves to fly and he states it was his ultimate passion/obsessed over flying. this is very sad!!
