How many wagered on the over in tonight's MLB game? Many, many, many and many more. Everywhere I looked, the over 9 seemed to be the choice for those taking a shot at tonight's NLCS match. As I just turned the channel, I see a 0-0 score in the 6th inning. Awesome capping but the books just love you guys. Oh and lets not forget that NHL match tonight between the Black Hawks and the Predators. Once again, all the great cappers who chose to donate to the books, wagered their hard earned money on the over 6 or 6.5. Well I just noticed that the score is currently 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. Awesome capping once again I have to admit! Seems a lot of people just have it in themselves to simply gamble for the thrill of it all and the money they donate to the books is simply secondary. Sooner or later, it break you and that's a profitable wager if I ever witnessed one. Take that one to the bank and I'll see you there! :103631605

Yeah this game pisses me off as does the game yesterday in the AL. I know Glavine and Weaver threw well in the first round, but these guys are rarely consistent. Glavine threw well in the first half of the season but he tailed off in the second half. Weaver just perplexes me..the guy has sucked the whole year until now. I figure you have the two best lineups left out of the 4 teams with neither going against a dominant pitcher and the over seemed like a good bet.

Last night same thing. Verlander has great stuff and pitched better than average against the Yanks. Loiaza has been the A's best pitcher over the last couple months and shut down Minnesota last night out. The result..both got whacked around real good.

Still i should have listened to my gut instinct which says to stay away from the over at all costs. I dont look at the stats on this which may prove otherwise, but it seems like the Under comes in more times than not in these Cold October games. I know it did last year and i made a pretty penny on it. I just cant seem to get it right so i may stay away from totals all together. I have to admit I was persuaded by all the "over" plays and went against my instinct of always taking the Under in the Playoffs (Or nothing at all)

The 'over' might be the best play of all considering the fact. :toast:
