Rich Harden, IS 3-1 THIS YEAR with a respectable 3.70 era against the tigers. But forget all that do not think Rogers comes up with another big game, he even said himself he is old and does not have that much left. I feel the A's have a huge game in this one too make it a series, tiger will win this just not this game. A's come up big in this game.

Don't think I'll be betting my balls on the A's....but I might be freezing them off at this game today. Cold, very windy here in Michigan today. Comerica will be electric, as always, with 45,000 screaming, drunk fans. Best of luck on your wager, but I can't see taking the A's in any game this series.

It ends this weekend in Detroit...never gets back to Oaktown.

Do you really think Rogers would give the A's bulletin board material? Come on man, you know better than that. I do agree with you that this is the most important game of the series to date for the A's. Hot chocolate anyone?

Ever hear the expression: "Layoffs are Payoffs"? Harden last pitched 10/1 at the Angels he pitched 3 1/3, gave up 6 walks, 3 hits, and 6 earned runs. Rich Harden owns no one.

On the other hand Rogers is stone solid at Comerica take away one clinker against Tor. where he gave up 5, he is nails in August and Sept at home.

Take the Tigs behind 43 thousand in Comerica, which has become a rough place to play for the visitors, ask the Yankees.

Can't agree more...is it windy over there right now?? Leaving at 10:00 from G.R. for the game. Rogers shuts 'em up, and shuts 'em down.

Yea, what's wrong with hot chocolate? Didn't say to not put something else in it, :lolBIG: , just know from what you said it was going to be damned cold; hence have a warm drink (maybe with a kick). very windy, forecast calls for it to be coming in from right field at 23mph. It's gonna be nasty on that 1st base side. Also don't expect any balls going out in right field.

Harden won't last more than 4 innings, hasn't pitched much becasue of injury, weather won't help that either..

Thats what I thought when I bet the Yankees down 1-1 and 2-1 and 3-1 and nevertheless watched them continue to lose and watched Pinny take all my money I worked hard to accumulate and leave with with scraps.

I love Harden but Detroit at home with they way EVERYTHING has gone right for them.

And I dont trust that A's lineup.

Hell, they basically have a 7-man lineup. Scutaro and Jiminez stink.

Like guys have been saying on here constantly, Detroit looks like a team of destiny, like Chicago last year.

I say either bet Detroit or dont bet.
