Until the last of the glass is half full crowd here at rx finally admits that the online gambling landscape is wobbly, the bottom has not been reached.

Its been rather surprising the past few months, reading the same type of "nothing" will happen posts from the same posters.

Meanwhile, quite a few gambling sites have changed operations and moving money around seems to be more difficult.

Whats next?

So, how do you feel about the current state of online gambling?

Rate 1-10, 1 being horrible, and 10 nothing at all will change, your belief about current state of online gambling.

Personally, I will post my emotion at 3...and falling.

Keep in mind that even in a worst case scenario, it is STILL in better shape than it was 10 years ago.

I guess that means my glass is half full.

Want a drink ??? :)

In my opinion if you bet with a "bookie" be it offshore or local you will be ok, betting with a "legit" company seems to be in jeapordy, they are afraid of big bad uncle sam. Like prostitution, bookmaking has been around for a long time, news of it's death may be greatly exxagerated.

All depends on what kind of player you are and what books you're liquid at. For what I need, I'm only at the big boys and am not worried right now. As for the landscape as a whole, definitely shaking a bit.

Unless you are a local bookmaker, a religious fanatic, or a republican, 10 cannot possibly be a realistic response.

Where are all the posters that for the past year have repeatedly said this bill would never be signed and what is your current 1-10 rating?

Until these types of never say die types throw in the towel, the bottom has not been reached.

Alot of people claim they wont crack under pressure, but when neck is in the vice, eventually they all come around and cry uncle.

No need to specifically name anyone, as anyone whos been reading here knows who they are and they know themselves.

Online gamblers lumped together with a terrorism bill...what a friggin joke, but it is what it is.

Emu, hope your post is intended for madcapper and not myself.

1-10...wildbill are you out there?

9- Not buying this, "sky is falling" bullshit. We'll all still be here gambling. Personally, I just placed several NHL wagers at Olympic not even 5 minutes ago.

Best of luck to everyone this weekend!

I would call it a 3.

Sportsbooks are all good for me.

Poker sites are hurting, with 'dise and Party going away.

Still have some questions on Neteller and funding.

What is your problem? IT all depends on how you look at it. It really does.

I have always maintained for many months that we do not know exactly what is going to happen. Nobody knows. We wait and see and wait and see. You have so see what things will be like in 6 months. It cannot be stopped. Impossible. But it can be slown down.

It all depends on how you look at it. It is business as usual for many people. Period. For others it is not.

I agree that some people with the "they can't do anything" attitude is absurd but again it is how you look at it.

No problem at all...trying to measure sentiment.

1-10...what is yours or did you just come into this thread to post drivel?

It cant be slowed down? Have you been reading the news the past few weeks? It ALREADY HAS been slowed down for poker sites and certain sportsbooks.

Agreed, biz as usual for some...myself included, but doesnt mean it has to remain biz as usual.
