Like alot of people I received the Lem Banker books during the late summer.
A few weeks ago I also received their 75% Bonus Play promo mailer.
In trying to figure out which one to use I called their CS and was told I could use any promotion that I wanted and that both coupons would be available to me.
I also solicited advice on the forum and was advised by Doug and Wvu to take the 75% Bonus Play offer with the 8x rollover. I deposited 1334 and got $1000 Bonus Play.
Last Sunday nite I went to use one of the coupons and was told that I couldnt because I wasnt on the list of those that were sent a book. Which is complete BS because Im looking at the book they sent me and even if I wasnt sent one there is no stipulation on the coupon that says you have to be on a list. It only stated that one "must have a Heritage account"
I talked to a Roxy at halftime who stated that even though she couldnt let me use the coupon tonite that if I could prove they sent me the book by scanning the address from the book then I could use them later in the year.
So I scanned it and then today she comes backs and says that not only will they not honor the coupons since I did the 75% promo but states that
the "postmark on the book is not how it should be". It was like saying that I forged all that info. Gimme a break!!!!!
IM like WTF? You all sent it to me. First they claimed that Im not in the system even though they obviously sent me the book, then they say that if I can prove that I got it they will honor the coupons and after I do that they go back on their word and claim that the information was erroneous.
Obviously there is some type of error in THEIR system and I should't be blamed for it.
Look I know that getting to use all the promos is a great deal and is one of the reasons that I chose to deposit with them. If the Heritage CS guy had made it clear that if I did the 75% then I couldnt do the coupons also then I would have taken the 30% cash and the two coupons. I am very anal when it comes to terms and conditions and specificaly asked him about the coupons. But he told me I had a choice , I made that choice and should not be punished because of it.
But the real kicker is that when we talked on Sunday Roxy knew that I signed up under the 75% offer but told me to prove that I got the book then the other coupons would be honored. Now she is reneging on that and
is literally acusing me of making up the info with the wise remark about the info no being as it should be.
I expect shady behavior from certain books but certainly not from one that seems to be so highly recommended from some people whose opinion I respect.
(As an aside, since it has nothing to do with the principal of this matter, the bet I wanted to cancel SD -3.5 ended up winning
