I just had a bizarre exhange with Cascade .... I understand that to get a bonus you have to meet a 6-time rollover, but they won't process *any* withdrawals even if you don't want the bonus .... Never seen that at any other book.

I asked them "So until I bet another $14,000 I have no way to get my money? So if I never bet with you again I would lose over $40 K? That can't be true."

But they wrote back and said it was true. Go figure. Of course, I'm a virtual certainty to roll over the money, so it's not like I'll lose my dough, but it seems wrong to hold player funds hostage like that.

I wouldn't call it hostage, when it is clearly stated on their website.

They have always been like this. You accept a bonus, you must meet the roll over before any withdrawal. No forfeiting the bonus.

Hoex you are saying that you asked not to have the bonus in the first place. If that is true you better ask them to send you back the money because I have never heard that anywhere. They only hold your money if you got the bonus in the first place.

The bonus came automatically when I opened an account-- what I'm saying is that every other book gives you a "forfeit bonus" option, so this seems quite aggressive.

Did you place your first wager with the bonus in the account? If you did then too late. When I opened my account there, I told them no bonus and they didnt put it in. But you have to call them before you place the first wager.

Cascade's a decent book, it just seems like a misguided policy. If you agree to deposit money for six months at a bank in exchange for a high rate of interest, then take the money out, you lose the interest. Can you imagine if they kept the deposit too?

Hoex I had an arguement with a smaller book about this. I thought I was totally right, but that is standard policy throughtout the offshore industry.

Cascades Rules

Looking at the rules it clearly states the following .

Quote:

10% Sign-Up Bonus must be rolled over 3 times. The Re-Load bonus is also 10%, but carries a 6-time roll over, subject to management approval.
Example if you deposit $5000 and receive $500 bonus you will be required to put $33,000 into NET action before any payout request will be entertained.
Once you have agreed to the above terms under NO circumstances will the forfeiting of the above bonus to receive any early pay out be an accepted practice. You must complete the required roll over requirement before requesting any payment.

If you have NOT met the roll over requirements and used the cash bonus funds for wagering purposes then you have agreed to the above contract and have NO argument period .
