It's goodnight no matter what. The Cards are playing like ass. This was their chance to win this series. If they won this, they would have won the series. Now I see the Mets pulling it off. They have Glavin tomorrow night, that's lights out. Mets will be a huge play tomorrow.

The Mets might have hit the jackpot in getting Oli Perez. This kid has some of the most dominating raw talent I have seen for a lefty since RJ's younger days. He is the only pitcher in the Majors who has anything similar to that of Johnson's, and he has show signs of sheer briilliance. In '04 he dominated for an entier year, though he onlyh hade 12 wins due to horrid run support, he still had nearly 12 k's per 9 and an ERA in the high 2's (around 2.90) ... but any pitcher who plays for the Pirates organization goes to shit, and the Mets trading highly touted utiltity man X-Nady (many experts believe X will turn into a 25HR/1000RBI hitter in a few years...he has great stuff, a batting style that is similar to a David Wright before he became an All Star) shows the Mets organization saw some definate potential in Oli...and look what he does, comes into one of the toughest venues in the Majors

Now guys, after tonight, you think I should buy back my Mets series bet? Barring a meltdown, this 7 run lead looks good in the 9th
