Sitting right there for the Bills and they passed on him. He will be a very good quarterback in this league sooner then later. JP Losman will be a bust mark my words.

Harry, a "rebuilding" team does not need a good QB :nohead:

It is truly incredible to me how overreactive people on this forum are and how easily you will buy into what you hear on TV. Leinart played a decent HALF. He made some bad throws too. This is the same philosophy that made people start printing BEars SB tickets already and this game an easy bet at +12.5. Leinart will never be a great NFL QB. He will be average at best (around 15-20th best) if that.

...and Whitner was projected to go MUCH later in the draft...like around the 2nd round or very late 1st round.

brilliance by the Bills

And he will continue to make you look the fool. He's played 3 decent halfs and that is about the extend of his NFL career. He has composure, he can read defenses, and he will be a pro-bowl QB.

He's already better than 10 QB's I can think of right now and he has to play behind the worst O-line in the NFL!

Yeah, on draft day everyone was saying that was the worst pick of the first round and they may have been able to get him w/ their second round pick.

At this rate it looks like the Bills might have their choice of quarterbacks in the draft being Troy Smith or Brady Quinn this year.

Reggie Bush will be a pro-bowler too. If he keeps returning punts this year, he may make it this year as a special teams player.

Now all of a sudden, all of you want to say what a great all-purpose player and receiver he is. Weren't you all saying he was Marshall Faulk, LT, Barry Sanders, etc... - the greatest RB ever.

My whole point all along is you don't draft a return man #1 overall. So what if he makes the Pro-Bowl as a returner giving people a reason to watch the boring Pro-Bowl. If you watch games, you know he is nowhere near the best return man. He'll probably win rookie of the year too, and he isn't even the best rookie on his own team.

You should only comment on what YOU said, which was Bush and Leinart will never amount to squat in the NFL. Now you are acknowledging he just might make a pro-bowl? C'mon O'Reilly, stick to your guns.

I said the same thing when the Bills passed over Leinart. He is already better than Losman.Once JP is done here he will be a back up QB at best for anothjer team. Was also listening to Leinart after the game in his press conference and he conducts himself so much better than that arrogant msarmy peice of crap we have here in Buffalo. At least JP isnt quoting YODA anymore!!!:monsters-
