No more games for either the remainder of the year and forfeiting of all games.

Anything less should be considerd uncivilized.

THESE mere 1-3 game suspensions are a complete travesty and complete shame for NCAA football.

How about a lifetime ban for that dirty stomping mofo #19 from Miami?

Many were calling for assault and battery from the police for what that COWBOY player did a couple weeks ago with his "heat of the moment" ONE stomp.................what is their take here.............3-10 years in the pen for that kid from Miami, FLA!?

I thought the worst part was the guy using his helmet as a weapon, but that's just me. The stomping was sick too

Some excerpts of what the imbecile said are on Yahoo.

"Now, that's what I'm talking about," Thomas said as the brawl raged out of control. "You come into our house, you should get your behind kicked. You don't come into the OB playing that stuff. You're across the ocean over there. You're across the city. You can't come over to our place talking noise like that. You'll get your butt beat. I was about to go down the elevator to get in that thing."

"I say, why don't they just meet outside in the tunnel after the ball game and get it on some more? You don't come into the OB, baby," Thomas said. "We've had a down couple years but you don't come in here talking smack. Not in our house."

I just heard it again..it was bad enough the first paragraph, then a minute later he chimes in about fighting after the game...he had to get canned for this I would hope...I see he used his college education well.

I have a hard time believing that the NCAA is not handing stiffer penalties. Schools will get probation for small small petty garbage but I guess it is ok to have a big fight on the field. In my mind that was one of the most tragic moments that I have ever seem on a football field.

Watching it you would have to wonder just how many of these players would use a weapon and fatally attack someone without thinking twice about it, I cannot help but think that.

I love how the imbecile goes on about not coming into our house and talking smack. Didnt Miami go and disrespect Louisville in their house and posture and stomp all over the Louisville logo? We all saw the result of that trash talking and disrespect, they got their asses handed to them 31-7 by the Cardinals.

They may produce some great players, but their program lacks class with a capital C.

Way to much $$ involved to forfeit games, not just for Miami and FIU but their opponents. I agree the penalties should be stiff but forfeiting games is a bit much.

The thing I find amusing is th "shock" everyone seems to express!! A lot of these guys come from violent pasts, they are playing a violent game.

I am surprised it doesn't happen more often. Schools mine included(va Tech), should not be allowing players in with checkered pasts.

It's like a company hiring a CFO that was convicted of embezzling at his last job and then being surprised 2 years later when it happens to them.

IF the NCAA wanted to clean things up, they would put rules in place that would automatically suspended players for 12 games for fighting. I still think 2 unsportman like calls in one game should be an auto suspension.

My alma matter is that of the FIU wonderful Golden Panthers. lol. A lot of Miami boys at FIU think they should be playing for the Canes and many of them are right. Still, no reason to have to start a turf brawl like that. That "color" guy is Lamar Thomas and was a star receiver for the Canes and the Dolphins. He was talking like the player and not the analyst -- still not smart.

Other teams have been disqualified from bowl games for much less. Miami should not be eligible for a bowl game for the next few years (not like they're on their way to one any time soon anyway).

The way the fans and the announcer reacted is just as bad as the fight. The NCAA and the ACC will lose a TON of respect from me if they don't start handing down some serious penalties.

Is this what college football stands for now?

Unbelievable.
