The only bet in this game is the OVER. Yes, I know that both Glavine and Weaver have been spot on in the playoffs. Yes, I know that giving the rain delay they got an extra day to rest, and yes I know its going to be in the 50s with a slight breeze coming in. This doesnt worry me one bit and here is why. Glavine isnt overpowering, if you can give any lineup in the major leagues a second shot at him 4 days later they will get hits and runs. Mr inconsistency, Weaver, will not have his third great performance. Both teams have finally started to swing the bats which we all knew would happen. Even with a cold win coming in these teams can hit homeruns and with the way defense has been playing take advantage of misplays in both the infield and the outfield. I think the 9 runs is a gift and once again will be over quite quickly. GL all

Last game ump for Glavine was giving a generous strike zone ie the old Braves staff. I think the zone will be a little tighter tonight which puts the hitters in a better position. Over. Also leaning on the Cards.

stats? projections? hunches? what else do you have to go off of? those numbers speak meaning. yeah, you never know what's going to happen, but there's a trend here. i'd rather have some backing, with numbers, to support my bets.

Well its nice to have other opinions here. I never look at trends because they are just trends, but I respect those who go off them. I am a more of a game to game type guy. So far its in the sixth inning and its looking like its going to be close whether it goes over or not. Could have used more than one run last inning but hey thats how it goes, it wouldn't be betting if everything was easy

i agree, i am totally all about the game to game, but overwhelming stats help my decisions.

there's always another game to prove this right or wrong.. just happened to be on the winning hand tonight.

I laid off the total, but i liked the OVER too. I had no cash to bet it though. Thank God.
