Don't be a bitch. If you love gambling and you are an american and you don't call this number and call this guy a coward for passing this bill the way he did then you are a bitch.

I have called and so have a dozen of my friends. An answering machine picks up and says you have reachedc the office of Senator Bill Frist... and goes onto say your call will be returned. I left my name and my number, screw this guy. The only way any one of us can make an impact is if all of us do something.

Alone we are easily ignored together we are not.

Doc, a lot of us called Frist's office(s), spoke to his aides, left messages and wrote letters and e-mails PRIOR to the Senate vote. Exactly what are we to accomplish by whining now?

Frist is retiring from the Senate and will have no impact on related future legislation unless he's elected President and that's not going to happen.

You would have more of an impact by calling your own Senators and holding them accountable for their votes.

The gov tries to send us a message that they will stop us from gambling if they feel like it. We need to do something to show them that we will punish any asshole who decides he can take matters in his own hands and try and screw us with backdoor legislation. I'm kinda suprised some degenerate hasn't already smoked this fool.

Frist could care less what you think, especially now that a) the bill has been signed into law and b) he's not running for re-election. If you want to get back and the SOB's that did this you need to do what you can to vote 'em out of office (or in Frist's case, make sure his handpicked successor doesn't get elected.

If you want to waste a couple minutes and do a search using my name and you will see that i have been here promoting any and every method i can find to try and do anything even if it is flooding this pricks voicemail.

I have handwritten letters, emailed, called done everything i can come up with to combat this... that is why i started this.

But you guys are right, whats the point. Might as well just roll over now that it is a law.

Glad so many people support the effort instead of being dumb ass moronic pricks... oh wait. Nevermind.

It's not your sentiment that I'm taking issue with but your tactics--you need to go after someone who still has something to lose from his support for the legislation. I don't think *anyone* should roll over on this or any other issue, but IMO its just more productive to work to keep guys like Kyl and Frist's hand picked replacement out of office than to do anything with Frist at this point. It's not like annoying him is going to get him to change his mind--we need to exercise our power, influence or whatever where it'll do the most good...
