I hope your break your bookies BALLS brother because I have the Mets to win the series @ horrible value (-190 to win 4 units, put it in before the Series began)...lost 7 units on the Mets in game 5, so said hey, if im going down, im going down swining..put 4 units on the MetroSexuals again tonight and if I win, cut my losses to 3..then ill be faced with the Series bet I mentioned...let it ride (if Mets close that out tonight that is) and I win a unit if Mets in the series, lose I lose 11
...might back my original play on the Mets to win the series and add 4 more units on them tommorow...thats gonna be tough, but the way I look at it:
Mets made this a completley new series if they win tonight. Its basically a one game playoff, and their most important acquisition IMO to the pitching rotation was the obtaining of Oli Perez...everyone knows this kid has all the tools to be a superstar in this league. Devestating breaking ball, 96-97 fastball, even 99 when he digs deep, and the only lefty I have seen with anything similar to the dominating pitching of Randy Johnson....
ONE MORE STAT THAT REALLY MAKES ME LOVE THE METS (KNOCK ON WOOD THEY DO GET TO GAME 7) IN GAME 7, IS THAT THE CARDS SUCK!!!!!!! AGAINST LEFT HANDED PITCHING...11 games UNDER .500 in the regular season for the Cards, and a young stud who has seemed to have found his stroke again in Perez pitching tommorow...lefties are a rare breed, so anyone with decent stuff has a chance to pitch in the majors, but Perez is arguabley the most talented young lefty in the Majors after that of Santana...I have convinced myself enough BallBreaker...im with you on the Mets to win the series (same thing as betting Mets game 7)...gonna be interesting to see who the books favor...its obvious that neither team can string together 2 wins in a row in this series, has been awfully even...but like I said, Cards are crap against lefties, and intentionally walking Pujols has been brilliant lately (wouldnt have been earlier in teh season, and even worst of a move last year) since Edmonds and especially Rolen are slumping...Rolen shouldnth ave even been in the lineup today, and luckily he was because his backup could have sparked a HUGE hit in the first with bases loaded, anad not made the error later in teh game the game that set up the lineup for the Mets to produce a big 2 inning effort later in the game
