Had a writeup for the game, written out but my computer crashed and I lost it.
So, in the words of the priest from Spaceballs, here's the short short version.
Mets backs against the wall, they hit well at their home field, too much pressure on Carpenter to go deep into this game, and if they can chase Carpenter out by the 6th, that crowd will get some momentum going and that lineup will get confident. Both bullpens are spent. Maine is nothing special. Lot of runners stranded last night, wont happen again. This series is an over or lay off in terms of the total. Have done bet the total twice so far and have gone 1-1 with 1 and 2 unit plays. I bought it up to 9 +124, think we see 11-12 runs here.
