They will come up with something. The other guy said it right that at least they are not freezing and seemingly doing this the right way. Lets see what happens next and what develops.

Dante, I'm serious, that would be it. Not worth the hassal of trying to move money around. For the average Joe, they will be fine. But to move large amounts around, without Neteller would be tough.

Yea, they can open up another Neteller like business, but books are losing a lot of customers now, and it can be felt thoughout the offshore world.

I received a letter from CRIS stating they are behind because of the recent bill, TONS of people are pulling money. Without the average Joe, it will be tougher, and tougher to make money.

I will just get back into the business I left about 4 years ago.

I love the freedome of gambling for a living, but the uncertainty of it all is what kills me.

Neteller

Maybe Neteller will do like what VIP and Sportingbet did sell the US operations to private investors such as Neteller's founders.

Don't the vast majority of players post up via Western Union anyway?

For me, personally, I posted up the first four years with cashier's checks and FedEx. Then I started using Neteller a year ago.

My best friend in San Antonio has never posted up anyway other than WU.

I am confident that some private enterprise will pounce on this opportunity. Calvin Ayre is probably licking his chops right now.

As for your concerns, BigBet, I don't see the offshore books folding over this. I mean, think about it this way, sports gambling existing before offshore came along. It will still exist.

As a small player, who just wants some action on weekends with a small, say, $500 bankroll, would you trust a local more than you would trust BoDog???? For me, it is a no brainer. I trust ANY post up shop to pay if I win long before I trust some local guy who is blindly extending credit to anybody who asks.

I remember the early days when Olympic first opened. I saw their add in a Street & Smith's College Football Preview I purchased. I talked to my friend from high school about trying them. We were running down to the bar after practice in high school placing bets. I just moved to Columbus and needed a new connection. So I tried it. I remember going to Kroger and the Customer Service Desk to use Western Union. It appears I might be going the Western Union route again soon. It's funny, I just remember going into Kroger (mind you in Columbus, middle of the Midwest) and sending or receiving fair amounts of cash from some person in Jamaica!

I do believe if you go to their website that you can send money online via Western Union?

Maybe SolidPay, Citadel will hang in there. There are always checks via FedEx. Maybe new services will arrive on the scene. A ton of money to be made here for an agressive business person.

I use Pinnacle's account-to-account transfer option to transfer money between many books including Cascade, Matchbook and Rio. It's instant and it's free. Hard to beat.

I tried to request an account to account transfer from another player yesterday and they told me if I accept it I will have to pay $25 deposit and withdrawal fees for life. Needless to say, I declined.

Cashier's check and FedEx - Pinnacle pays the shipping and gets there in a day - done it 2x the last month w/out a problem.

MrJ: I believe somewhere between 60 and 70% is American, with the non-US Segment growing about 100% a year, US segment growing at 40% a year on last reports..

:103631605 Now THAT sounds like a plan. The books will have to step up and cooperate amongst themselves.
