Very true, as most ALL touts and bonus whores have made tons of cash.........where as most regular gamblers are losers to a very large degree.

Most regular gamblers are actually at the opposite end of the scale and that is they have very low self-esteem.

Why Doctors? To be a good doctor i think you need to speak to your patient with confidence and matter of factly. I wouldn't want a doctor who is like "umm...it could be this...or maybe this. i think we should do this."

lawyers are the worst

They can all be cocky, but...
-doctors save peoples lives.
-gamblers are out to win, but dont usually hurt other people in the process.
-lawyers get their thrills by screwing you, throwing people in jail, or defending murderers and rapists. And they smile all the way to the bank.

It is safe to say that the majority of the workforce have some form of arrogance. Most successful gamblers, however, are not arrogant. They know they have to keep some level of composure in order to survive in a long run. It's entertaining to see some of the circus acts that posters provide in order to make themselves feel good. That should already give you a warning about what really lies behind the poster.

Take Coldweather for example. The guy takes the perfect approach to this nasty habit/profession. I'm sure he seriously caps the game but he also takes a lighthearted approach that most gamblers lack. I doubt he ever burns out unlike most people.

Drs are too quick to suggest antidepressants and blood pressure medications in marginal cases, then people are hooked...

Here's an idea try doing the right thing in the first place, oh but wait, you can't make any money off of advice ...way too many people WANT a pill to fix their lives.

In my honest opinion, SHRINKS have the most out of wack, unjustifiable egos. :puppy:

what's "the right thing" for a patient with depression or high blood pressure? BTW, I've never heard of anyone hooked on blood pressure meds.

I'm saying Drs will give blood pressure medication before its needed and will increase dosage mmuch too quickly, and yes you can't just hop off of BP medications once you start.

The point is too many Drs are willing to prescibe medications too quickly (to line their own pockets), do you have any particular experience or are you just asking out of curiosity?

Of course a majority of people needthese medicines but many do not, and don't know any better....Drs are not Gods....there are good and bad Drs just like auto mechanics.

The world is prescription drug crazy.
