If you're the Cards, you are feeling bad now. You had a chance to put this thing away with your guy on the mound, your stud, your ace. You blew it. Mets have the upper hand now. They are getting quality starts from guys on their staff all series. People stepping up left and right. With the lineup they have, this is a tough one for the Lou. Pujols hammy, Rolen's choking, Carpenter losing, Eckstein is nicked up, Spiezio has gone cold, the bullpen is average at best, game 7 in NY vs.a tough Mets lineup.
I dont trust the Cards bullpen, and I dont think Suppan can do it twice in a row.
Home teams 7-4 in games 7's since the 1980's as they said last night.
8-4 after tonight, IMO.
