not only is the max bet with him $200 but, here is the other nonsense i will have to deal with:

1) he is "open" from 10:45 - 12:00 on saturday morning...then back at 5:30 but only until 6:00. on sunday, if you want to be the sunday night game you have to bet it before 3:00 because he turns off his phone after the afternoon games kick.

2) ties on totals are a loss

3) here is an example of a typical baseball game line:

NYY -125
BOS +105

total of 9.5 -120 either way...:lolBIG:

4) settle up day is tuesday afternoon. i have to meet him at arlington race track at 1:00. he is always late so, i have to sit in the parking lot watching all these degenerate horse bettors coming in and out of the OTB. very depressing.

The books aren't going anywhere, not the big players, but payment companies are going to run for the hills sometime in 2007

Tell that guy to grow some balls and actually write a real sheet. Can't believe anyone would play there. I'm guessing he's ridiculously slow on moves though. Only redeeming quality. How a book would want to turn away bets by turning their phone off is beyond me.

the only good thing is that he is very slow on the line moves. he is an old retired guy with about 25 "customers". the first year i started with him...i think it was 2003...i murdered him in college basketball. i mean, i was something like 25-9 over a three week span. but, how much can you win with a $200 max bet per game?

basketball is really the only use i have for the guy. the football lines dont move enough and betting baseball thru him is like hitting yourself in the face with a rolling pin.

but, if this new bill screws everything up...he will be all i have left.

Next time, go inside Arlington Park and you'll be able to hook up with something resembling a real local!

That's when you turn some new "friends" onto betting through him and pound the shit of him in CBB. Cut a deal to get commission on losses and thereby reduce your own edge.

you know what i thought about doing? taking over for him. i mean, i know most of the degenerates who bet thru him. they all lose. they bet the favorites in the nfl every week...the lay -300 on schilling and pedro.

the only thing is, i dont want to answer my cell phone all weekend...my wife would shoot me. and, it seems like it'd be so boring. plus, then i have to schedule collection meetings with these degenerates and worry about them not showing up or calling me saying shit like "dude, can i pay you next week...my car needs new brakes". it would be a money maker though, that's for sure.
