My buddy has one and he LOVES it. I've never ridden it in though. Sorry I don't have more info!

It drove nice, seemed very comparable to Nissan Murano. I liked the Murano just a little better ( 3.5 liter motor) but the Subaru dealer will deal a lot more, it's a few k cheaper and has the navigation system, plus probably better in extreme conditions.

Was about to say that the Murano is getting better overall reviews. I think it looks better too.

But that is Impreza WRX STI money we're talking about here. Please reconsider your need for a SUV, get the Impreza and be my friend.

WRX is cool, or VW GTI, or SVT Ford, but I can't do much with speed capabilities, a V-6 250 hp is plenty adequate after a 4 cylinder Accord. I'd like a little more room, but not 4-runner type big.

Brother has the Impreza - has held up very well and drives nicely. I don't like the suburu look personally, but he loves it. We both agree it drives well.

I definetly like the Murano, but about 20% more comparably equipped.

My thoughts are on an Audi A4 3.0 v6 2004 model with less than 30,000 miles automatic. Preferred color Dolphin Gray with Black interior. And around 18 K

Love these cars. :suomi: I'll be looking for a similar deal when I finally decide to own a car (no need for a car during the week, I always rent @ the corner Hertz on weekends)

There was a bright blue 2007 RS4 parked in front of my building a couple of weeks ago - only 100 were sold up here. I'm still drooling.

Looks like over 40k new, not sure you can get that for 18k. I'm seeing cars 3-4 years old with 30-50 k miles offered at way over 50% of new, more like 80%.

2004 was the end of the older square but sharp body style for A4's so "outdated" but I like that style and yes 18K is around if you look. Not turbo but the big engine to last a few miles.

makes sense with a re-design. People want "new and improved". "old and lousy" can be better !

new coke, etc.

dont like the tribeca, the murano looks nice. BTW the navigation system is fun for awhile then nobody uses it. Unless you make a lot of long trips.

Yes, I'm calling around and getting quotes w/o the nav system. It seems like a 2k toy, that's not needed.

I called Carmax, they'll give me one with 11k miles, for $300 more than I get it for new.

I had a blast with mine, i was navigating trips to my brothers house LOL, (which was about a 1/4 mile a way) and to local grocery store. After about a week i forgot it existed

Yes, most people know the way to the store, work, friend's house, Grandma's house, etc.

You can always do Mapquest in advance.

I can see it for a repairman that might get dispatched somewhere unfamiliar, but not average folks.

Price needs to drop on this option.

I like the Tribeca body type better than the Murano. The Murano looks like a shoe.
