That sort of price is about as big as you can get in a baseball series. Might be a bit high, but hard to really get excited about backing the Cards. The Cards bats are really going to have to wake up to make this a competitive series.
It has to be high because I heard on the radio last year Ken White said he made a mistake with the whitesoc. There is no way they are going to let the tigers at a cheap price.
I'm not sure how overrated they are, except at leadoff. The bottom of the order is as good as St. Louis middle (wexcept for Pujols). If Zumala is healthy, this could be a quick series.
