Good old proline I have'nt played that in years, when I used to play football within 3 points was a tie and how many times did that screw me over to many to remember but it was fun I used to get 5 tickets every sunday but it would really suck if they all lost on the early games, good times
Looks pretty good compared with the Pointspread game in BC.
Kansas City +5.5
Buffalo +5.5
Atlanta +2.5
Minnesota +6.5
$2 on a 2 game ticket has potential winnings of $4. I know so little that I'm not sure whether that's even money or 2-1. A 4 teamer pays $16 winnings, guess that's either 7-1 or 8-1. Are we getting screwed?
Even with those lines its still hardly worth it. With the pointspread odds you need to get lines with over a 58% edge. So about -137 (without juice) is what we're looking at.
With this criteria KC and ATL (just barely) have value.
I still buy my tickets at the corner store and every so often I see this one guy who is invariably wearing this red nylon windbreaker zipped all the way up - EVEN in summer. Needless to say you know he's there before you can actually see him. Ugh.
There are always edges on PL sports and some of them are fairly significant too so it's worth playing.
eg
Wigan V 3.80 vs 3.45 Betfair 10% edge
Cgy-Nsh 6.5u
Phx H 2.50 vs 2.20 Pinny 11%
