I have 2 tickets to World Series 13 rows behind home plate. I have games 1,2,6, and 7... I just got off ebay, these tickets are going for shit.... St. Louis "no money town" vs "the lay off state of Michigan". If the Mets get in, I score on those tickets...Always crazy money from New York.

I sold my game 2 tickets for 2 dimes...Shit.. if the Mets made it I would be getting 5 dimes for game one....F,, that Rat Molina, "him and his whole family are rats" quote from Goodfella's....... Molina has always killed me, or his brother from Anaheim.......

Oh well, life goes on....Except for my Grandmother, greatest women to walk this earth passed away morning of game 7.. I should have not bet the Mets, she was a big met fan and I think she was telling me something.

Regards,

So you had AL WS tickets either way? I made a pretty good ticket score back in the mid 90's a couple years but nothing like you're talkinmg about.

1k a game, not bad, what is the face value now? Also you have to hope it goers deep into the series for games 6 and 7.

Exactly right Jman,,,, I think I am watching what everyone else watched. Tigers should roll in my eyes.. I will hedge, Tigers in 4 and 5.... Games six and 7 are gravy for me...I am going to game 1. Six is sold to my buddy for 2 dimes, seven is open... FACE IS 250

Still pissed about the mets. Oh yeh, by the way, the 4man contest I heard other RX'ers are out for you...THE LEADER...LOL

GOOD JOB,

Not unusual for ticket brokers to be huge gamblers..They hedge against their inventory..In Miami during the Heats run, many brokers were betting against the Heat and as the Heat advanced their tickets became cardboard diamonds..

In high school, I got 8 Def Leppard tickets at $30ish/ea & promptly unloaded them in the newpaper for $300a pop.

That was some SERIOUS JACK back then (and the extent of my ticket scalping career).

While there may be a lot of people out of work in the Detroit area, I'm sure there are still plenty of millionaires there that would like a ticket. Good luck with your sales.

Those tickets are $250 face. You made $1500 profit, but are pissed because the Mutts didn't make it so you could make a $4500 profit - and I'm the moron? OK

BTW, sorry to hear about your Grandmother.

Please you really think the Mets would have been that big a difference? Cards fans are far more dedicated and willing to pay bucks for seats. I bet more Cards fans will drive or fly out to Detroit than Mets fans would have. Its not like Mets fans are anything like Skanks fans, I think if you lost anything its only a couple hundred bucks a seat, not thousands.
