Stronger pitching that is well rested coupled with more consistent offense

because they're at home, are rested, have the better pitcher going, have won seven in a row in the better league, and have the better team...

I dont agree with that. There is no value in the line if they lose. All that means is your money is gone.

I do see your point however when it comes to a long season of continually betting baseball. You are gonna win a bunch and lose a bunch over a long season, so finding VALUE in the line is important.

Here however there is only one game to bet on a day. I tend to bet on who i think is gonna win. If the Juice is too high..I either make it a no bet or I bet the run line (Which i did in this case)

Also dont pay attention to line movement as much in the WS, because most of it is public money moving it, not the Smart Sharp bettors

I like the cards for a couple of units. I think there is a lot of value in this play. Detroit has been sitting for awhile and may be a little rusty. St Louis has momentum, and if they win any game in Detroit this will be the one. Verlander is a stud, but is young and could get wild at times. I just like th value given here for St louis. Everyone and their mom is on Detroit here.
