UCLA Notre Dame officiating

If UCLA keeps playing reasonably well they will win today.

Good help from the officials. After ND got a 15 yard 3rd down pass to within 10 yards the holding flag came out. Then a long 3rd down incomplete pass by UCLA was saved by pass interference to keep the drive alive for 3.

Still UCLA defence is solid.

I'm no ND fan but damn...that was cool. What was that, a 3 play, 80 yard drive. Very impressive and probably made Quinn another couple million.

Big mistake was UCLA taking the 5 yard intentional delay of game penalty. If it wasn't for that ..... UCLA would have a first down on the 10 yard penalty and would just had to kneel and game is over.

Lost the half time by half a point, by the way -7.5 ND. Small though.

I pushed 2nd half with UCLA+7, but lost the UCLA 2nd half win at +310.

The clock starting when the ball is spotted at the end of the game is a horrible one. UCLA wasn't ready at all.

Be careful betting against Charlie Weis with a month to prepare! I know they lost last year, but that was against Ohio State....this year they will definitely have an easier opponent!

The top "month to prepare" coach is O'Brein at Boston College, IMO.

Irish OL has been a major disappointment this year. Cannot open holes to run and Quinn is getting hit on most every play.

how about a ND vs Texass fiesta bowl

or better yet - notre dame/cal in the rose bowl - cal runs them off the field

could happen because if ther rose bowl loses both its teams (pac 10 and big 11) it would get first choice of at large teams and would the rose bowl LOVE notre dame although they might stick for the traditional matchup of cal vs osu/hail to the victors loser
