Curious to hear of any prodigys that people have first or even second hand knowledge of. So what's the youngest sports gambling millionaire you've met/heard of? How'd they get there?

I don't think it should count if they were a millionare to begin with. It should be a self made millionare from sportsbetting.

I would guess that kid who just turned 21 and then finished in the top 10 in 3 world series of poker events this year... He used his college fund to finance it.

How many millionaires got that way from sports? Very very few. My guess is many more millionaires are made from just the WSOP this year than the last decade in sports betting. You can make a good living from sports betting, but the million dollar years are mostly generated by syndicates. The actual "talent" doesn't get a million from that, but the investors do.

I assume we're talking about guys who didn't start with 100k? Much tougher to make a mil off sportsbetting as a kid than it is in poker. Poker doesn't require the bankroll that sportsbetting does, so a poker player is much more likely to be making big bucks before a sportsbettor.

There are guys who have hit a mil 18-21 in poker. Anyone who has done it at that age in sportsbetting were likely already cashed up or got extremely lucky and bet big.

I always try to follow the million unit plays whenever I can, so I'd say any of the dozen or so that do it each season in the betting forums here. I can't remember all the names.
