The Cardinals are a doomed franchise...although the Seahawks were pretty much in the same boat til about 2 years ago.

A loss to the Raiders will be the last straw

He's a walking heart attack as it is. I'm not sure coaching in the NFL is in his best interest.

edge without peyton is a joke.

Peyton is not the reaon he was a star. His OL was the reason & Arizona always lacks a good OL. I don't care who you are, you will not do shit without a good OL.

This team is not doomed but the Bidwill family has to start investing in the team if they hope to do anything. They have been underperforming for the last 50 years.

Bill Bidwill's son Michael is starting to have more of a say in running things and it seems as though he is willing to put more money in the team than his father. How much money remains to be seen.

Bill Bidwill has been running this team like a business. He would rather make money than have a winning team, that is evident. He has been relying upon revenue sharing as a revenue source instead of ticket sales and merchandising. Why should he spend good money to get name players if he can rely upon revenue sharing to make money?

I don't really like Micheal Vick but he has had a couple of decent years in the past with a shitty offensive line. Then again it's mostly because he is a RB playing QB.

No reason to fire a coach midseason unless the players just quit playing. Didn't look like the Cards quit playing, they just are plain bad. Green will be gone at seasons end and lots of coaches will line up for the job. With good crowds and the chance to play in a low-pressure atmosphere like Arizona its a nice gig.

Growing up a Cards fan and having season tix until the day they left STL, Cardinals will never do anything until Bidwell sells team. Nothing short will solve their problem. The best coach they ever had was Stallings and he was fired due to getting too much media attention and speaking out. A lot of good coaches careers were cut short by becoming HC of Cardinals. The only one that ever went somewhere else and did anything was Don Coryell in SD.

What a lot of people don't realize is that Bears, though not as bad, was in similar situation a decade ago. Being family owned and their main source of income, they ran Bears like business and did just enough spending to keep butts in the seats. If you check salaries back in 90's, Bears were always well under salary cap. When they booted Mike Mccaskey upstairs and away from day to day operations. Things began to change. Cardinals have to be sold before they start winning. Bidwell only breeds discontent among fans. Green is a good coach who will die in the desert.

Bidwell will never sell the team. He just got handed a gift with the new stadium, he will milk it until he dies. His heirs might sell it, or even worse they might keep it and turn it into a 49ers type mess. Cards fans might be pissed at Bidwell, but nothing comes close to the ire the Niners fans have for their ownership. Taking the classiest and savviest owner in the league and replacing him with a bunch of cheapskates has been an amazing lesson in bad management.
