I had both MIAMI and ARIZONA making the playoffs this season, even had Miami playing in the AFC championship game. LOL

I dont know whats more pathetic, losing at home to Green Bay by double digits, or getting blown out on the road to Oakland.

What a joke these 2 teams turned out to be.

MIAMI is probably the worst team in football right now.

Who would be below them?

Houston and Oakland both coming off wins......................Cleveland possibly?

Detroit?

Not sure.

arizona has always been that team that everyone expects things out of for the last couple years especially this year signing the edge... however, and i dont know why people dont analyze the grand scheme of things and understand u have to have a good offensive line in the nfl to have a shot... that being said the cardinals are this bad because of this reason.... plain and simple... the dolphins on the other hand, i thought they would make the playoffs, afc title game no way would i have ever given them a shot for that... just look at the afc going into this year i thought they were behind pitt, cincy, ne, indy, denver, and san diego for sure....

Would have been a great day to parlay a few ml dogs, if you played a few you were bound to hit something.

FADE SI!

From some blog "....refers to SI’s jinx at picking Sports Champions. It supposedly began when the magazine picked the Cleveland Indians as the best team in baseball in 1987. Cleveland finished that season with the WORST record in MLB. "

They do have Carolina going from the NFC

I think SI had Miami winning it all. Dont feel bad.

Let's face it, Miami was the trendy pick this year. And it did have a fair amount of logic behind it. They won their final six games last year under a new head coach (Nick Saban) so it looked like they were buying into his system. They were bringing in Dante Culpepper, who did have success at Minnesota. While SI's pick may have been a stretch to win it all, it made sense to see them win 10 games and make the playoffs. So I think Chop's pick made sense. But once they lost at Pittsburgh and Culpepper resorted to his early 2005 form, they went in the tank. Now it appears as if they've just packed it in.

Sharp post I agree.. Offensive line always the most under appreciated position in football.. This is what a bad offensive line will do for ya

If I remember right one of the reasons SI picked them was because the seven team AL East had seen six different winners in the six previous years and the Indians were the ones who had yet to win it.

Being a Red Sox and Orangemen fan, everything else about that cover is just heartache and pain (not to sound like a foriegner song or anything.)

Let's take lemons and make lemonade. Excellent fade material from here on out.
