I'll always remember watching cartoons on Saturday mornings listening to Christopher Glenn's voice tell us all about what's "In the News". He made the news interesting for kids. I think his voice is my favorite news voice of all time.

Here's a snippet of an article from CBS News:

"Glenn also handled numerous assignments for CBS Television. He was the reporter/narrator for the over 5,000 broadcasts of the Emmy Award-winning program In The News, aimed at kids and sandwiched between entertainment programs on Saturday mornings from 1971 through 1986."

Growing up listing to wcbs out of NYC, I listened to his newscasts all the time. It sure is weird how you can get attached to particular voices, and how they can bring back memories from long ago. I was very sorry to read of his passing.
