If you live in a decent sized city, the prepaid ones should be pretty easy to come by

(Just don't get pulled over with 10,000 of them in your trunk....that makes people nervous-especially if you happen to be of Middle Eastern descent).

Why no plan? Just buy those long distance cards they sell at 7-11. Based on your previous posts your definately trying to remain under the radar.

hal- i meant i dont want to buy a plan because I already have a sprint plan thru next year and every website i see is selling plans with the phone and not just the phone by itself and these fucken stores want 300 dollars for a phone if you arent buying a plan with it.

Yeah, cell phones are freak'in expensive. They are heavily subsidized by the cell phone providers, to compete for customer contracts. Places where there are telephone monopolies (e.g. Costa Rica) they are not subsidized (I had to pay $150 for a Motorola V60c TDMA).

If your contract minimum committment has expired, best bet is to cancel your service and buy a new phone with plan.

Otherwise, go to Amazon.com and search for "Motorola unlocked" or "Nokia unlocked" to find phones without service plans.
