Best snow = Utah, Park City...where they had to coin the term, "powder."
Best view = Nevada, top of Heavenly over looking Lake Tahoe
Best runs = Colorado, the Outback at Keystone through the pines.
Most fun = Lake Tahoe, microbreweries serving pizza, hot tub evenings on the shores of the never freeze lake, the scent of pine in the air, summit view of winter (snow covered pines from aerial lake view) and summer simultaneously (aired desert baroness) simply "Heavenly"...and the CASINOS dealing ignorant games of chance after a long day of good runs, drinks, food and fun!

:thumbsup2:

Jackson Hole.

I love that place.

Only 2 green runs on the entire mountain. Oh; it's a beautiful thing.

Been to Boyne...good place to fall, so learning to ski there is a start that won't hurt, if you're prone to fall and get hurt, it may not hurt to miss work or perhaps the Boyne experience altogether.

Boyne is great if one enjoys spending more time waiting in lift-lines than time getting to them...snow quality is very poor as well.

Boyne IS an "ant slope," and although I enjoy the beauty of fall colored trees the leaves are long wind blown gone by the time any quanity of snow hit Boyne.

Skiing wasn't the reason for going to Boyne, but the partying with good friends of yester-year made for some unforgetable memories, everyone had a blast getting wasted and having fun at Boyne...we did "Carnival" EOS.

Skier's

Tulleride in Colorado is one of my favorite's because of the views and there is never anyone on the mountain. You can get massive amounts of runs with no lines. Lot's of the star's have home's there so you can really see some pretty lady's. I usually ski about three weeks out of the year and am already starting to think about it. Also, Snowmass has plenty of cruisinf run's, 1 i/2 to 2 miles of runs.

First time skiing a few years ago happened to be Heavenly.
-I learned to hate skiing. It's like learning a language-you have to learn at an early age.
-Played college ball, decently athletic, but I can't ski to save my life
-All the mountain had open were like dark blues or some ridiculously difficult color-and I went to practically the top.
-After losing my skis multiple times and almost flying off the mountain a couple of times-I quit.
Snow Patrol took me and another buddy who sucks at his down the mountain in a snowmobile. That alone took almost 20 mins.
-It would have taken over 4 hours to get near the bottom.

Anyways, I learned to snow board in New Mexico-and it smokes skiing!!

Love skiing. Have since I was a kid.

BIG fan of Vail (but it helps when I get 10 days there & unlimited at Breck\Keystone\A-Basin for under $400 a year.

Getting old sucks, and my knees are starting to hate me.
