I have read and owned all of the late Bob McCune's works over the years. They are all well worth the time and effort to read.

Football Handicapping by Bob McCune highly recommended.

All of Bob's books can be purchased online at

The Gamblers Bookstore.com.

I was a personal frined or Bobs for many years in Las Vegas and highly recommend any and all of his writings.

As Wil mentioned, the Gamblers Bookstore should be your first stop in looking for anything written by Mr. McCune.

I don't see this particular book listed under Football Handicapping section. In fact, I don't see anything for McCune.

Notebook..

Unfortunately some of Bob McCune's books may be out of print at this time. You can try Amazon.com though if what you are looking for is not at The Gamblers Bookshop, ya never know...

My personal favorite also. The chapter on NBA totals ("The Deviation Factor") is excellent.

Thanks, I did find the education of sportsbettor one there. I might pick that one up. I've been looking for some new reading material.

Wil- Bob and myself spent many, many hours discussing NBA TOTALS in our times together........probably more so than any other sportsbetting related topic. Although NBA TOTALS are still lucrative to those that put the time and effort into handicapping them, PRE-1994 they were even more of a virtual silvermine to the sophisticated handicapper in Las Vegas who was willing to put in the time and effort needed to beat them.

For what little success I have achieved in sportsbetting over the years, owe as much to Bob as anybody in the business, past and present.

I respect anyone who writes seriously about the theoretical aspects of sports betting, and McCune's stuff specifically is first rate

Revelations in sportsbetting is by far my favorite book by him and is the one I recommmend to newbies, even over education of a sportsbettor. If you can get through that book and the harshness within, you have a chance.

I use his "World Famous Guessicapper" phrase to describe my picking style all the time.

I am simply to LAZY to do anyhthing else.

I have that book also but don't like it is as much as the other one. Seems to be a much more difficult read (IMO).

Bob was quite the character. Wasn't he a world famous body builder? I never met the guy but talked to him numerous times over the phone. I have a couple of his books stashed around the house, and the way I've been going lately I think I need to read them again.

In his younger days Bob McCune was a world class body builder.

It is a more difficult read, but if you can make it through, you have a chance. He does not hold back in it and the math is hard.

I am never to old to learn and ready to get one of his books. In the early days of the forums info flowed generously and I soaked it up. Not much new and I definately need to expand my areas of expertise.
