Out of all different foods, why in the hell do Americans choose to visit these establishments. I just tried it for the first time. HORRIBLE! I knew I was in trouble when the lady brought a spoon before my special came. Spoon? Who wants a huge bowl of soup for lunch?

I should have left but I was only person in there and I thought I would be "a very good man" like Jerry in the Pakistan restaurant.

Never again!

I love trying new food and can honestly say this might be the only food I will never eat again. However, I have not tried Indian food but its on the list.

Very funny though! I might be a redneck because I do choose a good burger over most!

you crazy.
I had pho for dinner last night, I love it.

Some people can't eat anything but steak and potatoes unfortunately, but to each their own.

I must have eaten that....The place was called Pho-Bac. It had thin slices of beef in it. Very bland.

Thai is another over rated food

my favorite type of food in the world, where do you live? its probably shitty restaurants that you have tried?

Thai food is the most flavorful (although can be spicy)......

It was pretty good, I dont even remember what I had. I just didnt think it was anything to get excited about. I dont mind the spice, because I like hot.

I think Japanese is the best personally, that is some of the best grill work you will ever see.

And that's a big reason why Americans are grotesquely obese and dripping with fat.

more bland than a hamburger or roast beef and mashed patatoes? :think2:

you can add flavor to the soup with chille sauce, Oyster sauce or basil and corriander leaves.....

again, try this one day when you are badly hung over.... there is no better way to replenish your salts and liquids.... its the best hang over cure I have found.

reality is ..................everyone will love some food, tolerate some other and absolutely hate some other..................

I have to admit I am a total chicken shit when it comes to trying new/odd looking foods

The only thing I eat in a chinese restaurant for example is crab salad :puppy:

if you have only tried it once, might I suggest trying it a few more times, and different restaurants aswell....

next year in Vegas lets go out for Thai!!! :toast:

there are flavors in Thai food that I do not find in any other cusine and I love it, but like anything, if the restaurant or Chef is shitty, the meal will suck....

I had 'Thai' Food last time I was in Tampa Bay and it was horrible, I can imagine someone hating Thai food if that was their first experience.
