I'm suprised I don't see more people taking these. I'm far from a baseball expert, but given the percentage of games decided by one point, I think there's a lot of value in these bets. That goes double in a situation like tonight, where you have a road dog, because you won't get burned on a walk-off game winning run.

If I like the Tigers tonight, why shouldn't I lay the 1.5 runs?

if you do, then you should! :) I already looked at the alt RL and would LOVE to play tonight but already decided tonight's game is too close to feel 75% or better about my bet so I'm off it for the night. There's a lot money to be made in alt run lines just like the puck lines in hockey with teams on hot streaks that put up goals all night long. You can lose 50% of the time and still make a very nice profit.
