Alright, I already know most views on the over/under is pushing towards the under and I have to admit I am sorta leaning towards it but one thing bothers me. In sundays game, Weaver and Rogers were pitching, clearly the teams best pitchers this postseason and the over/under was 8.5. Now Robertson vs Carpenter and the over/under is 7.5. Robertson has definitely not been a shutdown pitcher and Carpenter although at home hasn't been pitching all that great. I am about to go against everyone and shoot for the over.

Im not playing the total, but the reason is probably that Carpenter was lights out at home this season. His ERA was under 2 and was by far the best NL pitcher in his own stadium. On the other side of things, the Cards cant hit lefties as they were something like 26-36 against them this season and also had a losing record at night, which probably means they didnt hit as well at night. All of this adds up to the total being 7.5. Personally, Id stay as far away from it as possible.

Yea I know that carpenter was great at home, I think his arm is dead, he isnt pitching well. With the cards against lefties that makes me want to go towards the tigers ml. though something just makes me want to go with the over, I know im crazy

Arm is dead? Look at his record in post season. He has had is normal days of rest and he will be focus and fueled by playing a Series home game! Sure late in season he wore down but no more than any Ace on a team. This Cy young pitcher has played big games before and will play another tonite!

go under. Cy young carpenter is in his first world series game. You think, even with a tired arm, he's gonna throw a stinker? no. Key bats in the tiger lineup are ice cold in the WS so far.
Nate robertson? he's shown us nothing, but he is a lefty.
Vegas doesn't expect many runs, & neither should you. look for a lot of guys left on base tonight.
GL on your play

plus change to still end in profit.maybe tomorrow we will
see the over..if Tigers want to have any chance they better
start hitting tomorrow.
