I like the fact that the town is turning on Larussa and talk show hosts are calling for his head, while the Tigers are taking the attack on their leader very personally. Add that to the fact that the Tigers have had good success with Carpenters dead arm, and the Cards can't beat lefthanders. I can't see how anyone should bet against the Tigers tonight. Then again anything can happpen.

One of the main reasons I liked the Tigers tonight was Carp's fatigued shoulder, and a solid LH facing the Cards.
But the media is all over LaRussa right now. That has to have an effect on the club.
Should be a real interesting game tonight...
I just hope that Zelasko and Kennedy get all of the cheating/Leyland/LaRussa stuff out of the way early...so Buck and WordCarver can talk about the game.
