You know you live in a gambling town when the local newspaper lists opening lines and the current line! I moved to Syracuse 2 years ago and knew there were alot of gamblers in this area, but seeing them list both lines was an eye opener.
Where I moved from Erie, Pa, actually had a best bet that a guy posted with the daily lines. I don't know who it was but he was actually pretty good.

I think more papers are doing this. My local paper started listing opening lines this year.

Lets see.

When you walk outside and get blinded by neon lights wherever you go, because every buisness in town has neon lights like there on the strip or something.

When you here what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas from tourist whom are telling you everything they have done, because you LIVE HERE and they think there secret is safe with you.

When people ask you for directions to the strip. Most times several miles away from the direction they should have gone in the first place. This is followed by, how do I get to the airport? In a cab, dummy.

When people ask you, do you wanna buy a watch, necklace ,shoes, etc, etc, because they lost all there money gambling.

I could go for awhile. I am just to tired too.
