just heard this on espnradio: NFL players voted on who they thought were the most over rated players in the league. T.O. voted as most over rated, I don't agree with second most over rated, Brian Urlacher. They didn't go beyond the top 5 but if any Bear should be on this list it should be Grossman and not Urlacher. (imo) I also think Daunte Culpeper should be on this list.

1. Terrell Owens
2. Brian Urlacher
3. Michael Vick
4. Ray Lewis
5. Lavar Arrington

The MAJORITY of all GREAT players in ALL sports are overrated........always been my belief.

I would have to say MIKE VICK is the most overrated player in the NFL................however it is hard to believe he is ONLY 26 years old...............and his performance last Sunday vs. Steelers may have been the best by any QB this year in the NFL.

Completely disagree!!

Remember, teams have to account for his being on the field at ALL times, thus making those around him better.

Has already had a game-winning punt return this year.

The Saints are having a fabulous season, and REGGIE is a big reason for that.

Definitley not Reggie. I think from previous threads/posts that whormoan has a grudge vs Trojans as he bashes Leinart and Bush.

I think T.O. is on this list because of all his antics but I think he is a decent player. Certainly he is not the best but I feel there are many more players that are much more over-rated than T.O.

Dion Sanders is one.

Who rates Vick highly in the first place? Every time I hear his name come up, it is in a negative light. Everyone saying he cannot throw or do this or do that. So not sure how in the world he could possibly make anyones list. I think he is underrated for this very reason, everyone rates him so poorly.

I agree. Seems to catch a lot of flack from people in the know. It's the young fans that love Vick cause he is fast and exciting but at the end of the day his numbers are average at best. Have to give a little credit though, he does win.

Same thing with Grossman. Most of the time you hear his name it is in a negative way. A little more positive this year but he has a short leash and people will start calling for his head the minute something goes wrong.

Apologies for meandering but........

Are there any weekly/monthly reports on the progress of NFL rookies on the web?

Thanks in advance

It's just recently people are recognzing him in more of a negative light. Espescially after he reached the NFC championship game 2 years ago, everyone was high on him. Then his passing numbers continued to struggle last season, they missed the playoffs and he hadn't thrown good this season (with the exception of this past Sunday)

What about Randy Moss? Seems to have lost a little thru the years but when you got High School varsity QB throwing to you it probably doesn't help.

Lavar Arrington and Chris Samuels have been overrated for years...both have made multiple Pro Bowls, both deserved to be in maybe one. THey get it on reputation alone.

The day Lavar signed with the Giants was one of my happiest days in recent memory.

Chris Samuels gets eaten alive by good ends...he can't pass block to save his life.

he already won the saints a game with a punt return for a TD

and isnt he on pace for over 100 catches or something? thats insane

scary thing is, he's just learning to stop dancing so much...give this talent 2 years and he will have the speed and adjustments figured out

he wasnt benched, it was admitted that his knee is still messed up and the dolphins are trying to protect their franchise qb since their season was going down the shitter

he isnt even the dolphins emergency 3rd stringer, marcus vick is
