Don't have the sheets for this race, but in looking at the PP's, the favorites certainly aren't world-beaters by any means but at the 4k3L level, you wouldn't expect such. Problem seems is that there isn't much speed in this race and seeing how your horse hasn't flashed speed in quite a while, to expect a rally may be unrealistic. Good thing is that half of the field is horrid which means you stand a good chance of getting a check. 12-1 seems to be accurate to me.
You have to be VERY patient in this game as I'm sure you've heard, but it's harder once the bills come rolling in. We've gone through periods of a few weeks without wins, but opened this month with 6 wins in 9 days and then won a stakes race in MD.
