Folks, I've lost 5 of 6 past nights. Baseball playoff betting couldnt get colder for me in games involving the St. Louis Cardinals - I'm brutal betting for or against this team. I would normally recommend fading this, but I feel very strongly about a playoff game for once, as Ive admittedly gone through the motions the past few nights with small action bets. This is no action bet.
5* Detroit Tigers -101
I love Jeremy Bonderman. Love him. I have a buddy in Detroit's triple A team that was Bondermans roommate in the minors, and Bonderman is a tough minded, tough, big game pitcher in the making. He doesnt take pitches or hitters off. He's a hard worker and strives for greatness. He has great stuff when he's on, and I think he is on tonight, when his team needs him most. He has a bulldog attitude on the mound, which is just what Detroit needs here in this huge game.
Detroits backs are against the wall. They need this win badly. And I think they get it. You can only hold this Tiger lineup down for so long - they were still a top 10 offense regular season. I think Detroit avoids Pujols tonight, pulls out all of the strategical stops, and gets this thing back even at 2-2.
I also am not a big Suppan fan. He can be inconsistent. Cardinals are 1-4 in Suppan's last 5 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance. Cardinals are 0-5 in Suppan's last 5 starts when their opponent scores 2 runs or less in their previous game.
Bonderman is hot, and he has been good vs. good teams.

Tigers are 4-0 in Bonderman's last 4 starts vs. a team with a winning record.
Tigers are 5-1 in Bonderman's last 6 starts.
Cardinals have seen lefties the past 2 nights, and now theyll face a tough righthander on a team whose backs are against the wall, and who I feel, is the better team.
Tigers win tonight.
Good luck
